Hello my friend! Pull up a chair and lemme tell ya the backstory on my website if you're curious (I promise it's interesting!).
I started this page in the olden days of Jan 2019 and have been working on it ever since as I truly believe it's something missing for Calgarians. (Seriously though, name another webpage that has all this info, I'll wait!)
It grew from a 10 views a month (probably all me haha) to 300 views a month (wow real people!?) to now over 50,000 views a month. INSANE?!
I am so glad that it has proved useful to Calgarians. This is my dream!! And I thank you for the support. Even you just being here means a lot.
BUT, of course, there are hard costs to having a website, (excluding the hours of time I put into the site each week, it costs me about $1000 a month to keep this little site going). Crazy right?! That's $12,000 a year?! Gulp, this may not be the best financial decision on my part to be honest ahhaaha.
I am looking for ways to have this website support itself so that it doesn't die. 🚫☠️
Digital ads are one way to recoup costs, but honestly, it just looks so bad and I feel genuinely ruins your experience. So I am trying to hold off on ads for as long as possible. Plus, it would not come even close to covering the costs anyway (I did a test last year and ads generated $50 a month, ugh, seems not worth it???).
So I figured I'd ask for a little help from my friends! 😊 Dats you!
