I'm sure you've been to Telus Spark Science Centre before but have you been lately? They are always changing it up and adding new fun interactive elements. I recommend going on one of their monthly Adults Only Nights as a fun date night.

Have you tried axe throwing before? It's a unique way to spend an afternoon. It's exactly like it sounds, you throw various sized axes at a target board and see how well you can do. They also serve alcohol.

The Flying Squirrel is an indoor trampoline park which I'm dying to try! It looks so fun! Okay, so this is mostly for kids, but adults can do it too.

The Rec Room is a giant entertainment complex with an absurd number of games. Everything from modern VR experiences to classic arcade cabinets, plus a full bar and restaurant. Basically a grown-up Chuck E. Cheese (in the best way possible).

Five locations across Calgary means there's almost definitely one near you, and the Calgary Climbing Centre is one of those gyms where you go in planning to spend an hour and leave three hours later. Great for beginners and experienced climbers alike, and a much better workout than you'll expect.

Indoor multi-sport simulators that go way beyond just baseball. A great option when the weather isn't cooperating and you need to burn some energy.

I'm going to be honest, I haven't been here since I was 12, but if you're wanting the amusement park experience, this is the place to go!

There are a few farms within easy driving distance of Calgary where you can pick fresh strawberries, saskatoons, or vegetables straight from the field. It's fun, relaxing, and you'll come home with tons of fruit!

Granary Road is a market and "active learning park" that holds events for adults and kids. (Note they close each year Jan-April)

Confession, I barely understand football, but even I think Stamps games are fun. Drink beer, eat a hot dog, enjoy the sun and the hype from the crowd! If you can get 20 people together, you get a group discount.

Visit the Bowden Sunmaze! Sunflowers are high enough around August and the field stays open until mid-October.

Calgary Farmyard has a huge corn maze each year starting in late July and going until the end of October. They even have some spooky maze activities close to Halloween.

Check out Calgary's men's soccer team! The season starts in April and runs until the end of October.

Float the Bow River or the Elbow River. You can do this on your own or rent a tube. Some places even offer shuttle services!

I went to one of these games last year and it was so fun! The snacks are the best part, load up on hot dogs, churros, and a Dawgs margarita!

Downhill Karting by Skyline Luge at WinSport gives you 1.8 km of track with 50+ twists and turns and nothing to do but let gravity drag you downhill as fast as you dare. It runs seasonally from May through October.
Winter in Calgary can be long, but there are still lots of fun ways to get out of the house — from skating and tubing to live sports and cozy seasonal activities.

I did this with my friends last year and it was so fun! You take a giant treadmill (there's probably a name for it) up the hill and plunk yourself down on a lane and a staff member gives you a shove. It's exhilarating but not scary, this is probably fine for kids.

There are several places near Calgary where you can rent snowshoes and explore winter trails. Great if you want outdoor winter activity without needing skiing skills.

Ah yes, lacrosse, the party sport! If you like non-stop hyped up music, lots of party people and shouting chants then this is the sport for you. Highly recommend! The season runs during the winter months (Dec-April) and games are played in the Saddledome so they are indoors!

Watch Calgary's AHL team play hockey in the 'dome for a much more affordable price than the Flames. Plus no line ups! The season starts in October and runs until late April.

I was skeptical about the Pedal Pub because it is pricey and what's so great about drinking on a giant bicycle? Well, I was wrong, it is SO fun. I love the pedal pub, I've been twice, and both times I power-drank a LOT of beer. This is not for the faint of heart!

I haven't done laser tag in FOREVER. Here are two options for you. Laser City and Tactical Laser. I haven't been to either but Classified has mission and looks like it's tailored to a more mature audience.
