What a time to be alive
There used to be one or two breweries around town and look at us now! Calgary has about 40 craft breweries! So many that it's tough to visit them all - a good problem to have. 😀
And the cool thing about the craft beer industry is that micro-breweries are so supportive of each other. It's not a competition, there's enough customers to support all of these great places.
Well, as long as we are doing our job to GO THERE AND DRINK! 🍻

When this popular Vancouver brewery opened in Calgary people were excited, and for good reason! Their beer is great and this place is always busy! Be sure to try their Mezcal Gose, I've never had a beer like it! So good!

Cold Garden has created their own cult following. It's known for it's crazy hipster décor, fluffy dog patrons, and ability to order takeout. It's a popular place with a big delicious beer list.
3) Dandy Brewing
When people ask for my top picks I always list Dandy because I just love the taste of their beers. They do a lot of sour beers that are damn delicious. They have a small but welcoming taproom and they make food in-house including pizza and a few other dishes.

Definitely some of the best beers in the city. They do a number of experimental sour beers that are just the right amount of crazy. Find it in the heart of the barley belt, this is a must-go spot for beer lovers.

Loving the flavor combinations coming out of Railyard - it's never boring! Their peach sour is a well known and loved beer you have to try! Also despite that their taproom is a bit of a drive (close to the airport) it has a fun interior and is a big space that's perfect for events.

Cabin Brewing has the cutest rustic theme of all the breweries. You can even sit in a mini-cabin booth. They also have really cute merch if you want to add a new t-shirt or hat to your collection. They're located central barley belt so you definitely can't skip this one.
