Eat a delicious Irish meal with some tasty beers to wash down each course. Each year you'll find various places put these dinners on. Co-op Wine & Spirits, Deerfoot Inn & Casino, and Willow Park Wines are some ones to look out for.
Gather up some green decor and ask each of your friends to bring over a growler of their favourite beer! This way you can try a pile of new craft beers. the more friends you invite the more you get to taste! You can also ask that they bring a cheese variety too if you want to pump it up a notch.
Looking for a wilder way to meet new people? Hop on a bus and travel with some fellow pub-party goer's. Hudson's and Bust Loose throw happening pub crawls each year.
Prefer something more authentic? Head to the Irish Cultural Society. Expect lively music, Irish food and fun dances.
Many Calgary bakeries and treat shops get in on the Irish spirit with fun green cookies, cakes or pastries. Crave cupcakes, Glamorgan bakery, Yum Bakery and Ollia's are some examples.
The Calgary Zoo likes to get in on the St. Patrick's day fun by throwing an annual event. Check their website to see what they have up their sleeve's this year.
Often the Roughnecks play a game near St.Patty's that they theme accordingly! If you've ever been to a Roughnecks game you'll know it's quite the party already, so add on a little Irish fun and it's gonna get wild.
