I think this spot on Stephen Ave wins for Calgary's most beautiful rooftop patio – it has amazing views of the Calgary tower and downtown! NOTE: while it's more expensive to eat and drink here, it's well worth it for the experience.
Located in Kensington, this rooftop patio is a true beer garden. Chill vibes, lotsa local craft beer, and menu items all made from scratch to be had on this patio in Kensington. Plus, wherever I've gone it hasn't been that busy, which is always a bonus.

The National on Stephen Ave is well known for its party rooftop for a reason! It’s a great place to hang in the summer - it gives off NYC vibes. Be ready to get down on the floor when the DJ starts up!
This is an extremely popular patio for 20-somethings, so while there’s still a decent amount of space, expect a wait to get up there. It's awesome once you're in though!
