Every year at the end of August Pride Week begins! This is a series of fun events held around the city celebrating diversity and inclusion.

Calgary Pride Week PARADE & FESTIVAL
1) Calgary Pride Festival Main Stage
Head down to Prince’s Island Park for a 2 day free outdoor festival August 30-31. Here you'll find sensational performances by iconic Canada’s Drag Race drag queens, alongside other amazing local talent and DJs. This year’s drag queen line up includes:

2) Calgary Pride Parade
The Calgary Pride Parade will be held on Sunday August 31st, 2025 from 11am to noon. The parade will go along 9th ave downtown. Starting at The Confluence (previously Fort Calgary) and ending at 5th St. SW.
3) Calgary Pride Festival Festivities
Beyond the main stage there are many ways to celebrate pride at Prince’s Island Park. Grab a cold drink in the beer garden or shop the 2SLGBTQIA+ marketplace for some unique finds. You can find good food on-site at Food Truck Alley. Families can also relax and celebrate together in the welcoming family zone on August 31st.
