Every year at the end of August Pride Week begins! This is a series of fun events held around the city celebrating diversity and inclusion.

3 Major Pride week Events
1) Calgary Pride Festival
Head down to Prince’s Island Park for a 2 day outdoor festival Aug 31-Sept 1. Here you'll find sensational performances by iconic drag queen headliners, alongside other amazing local talent and DJs. Relax in the beer or sober gardens, and explore food trucks, a curated marketplace, and so much more. FREE!
2) Love is Love Mile
Before the Pride Parade begins on Sunday run the parade route with Run Calgary! The run starts at 10:30am.
3) Calgary Pride Parade
The Calgary Pride Parade will be held on Sunday Sept 1st, 2024 from 11am to noon. The parade will go along 9th ave downtown. Starting at The Confluence (previously Fort Calgary) and ending at 5th St. SW.
