Are you headed to a party and need a couple o' liquor store recommendations? I get asked my favorites all the time. These are some of my regulars.
I was amazed by this drink because I don't even like gin. But the sourness of the grapefruit really cuts that juniper taste that ruins a lot of gin beverages for me. Plus these are not syrupy sweet coolers. They are very drinkable/chuggable.
You might have to like sour beers to be on board with this one, but that said it isn't a crazy amount of sour. It is really delicious, usually I can only have one sour beer before it gets to be too much of the same flavour. Not so with the Railyard Peach. Also, other people like it too! It won Bronze in the Canadian International Beer awards fruit category.
If you're planning on drinking a lot of something, this is your "healthiest unhealthy choice." If I drink a ton of sugary drinks I'm going to feel double the hangover the next morning so these are really good for hangover reduction. The taste is also very light and refreshing so you don't get sick of them. The Lime Ginger is my go-to, although the other flavours are also solid choices.
These are so good! This green bottle - the Honey, Mint, Lime is my fave, but their other flavours are really good too and def worth a buy. They used to be pretty expensive, like $12 a bottle but I've seen them cheaper lately for about $9. You can also get them in cans now too.
This sangria is so tasty in the summer time. Really gets you into holiday mode! It is on the sweeter side (because it's a sangria) but I don't find it too sweet. Best way to drink it is in a giant wine glass with lots of ice to slightly water it down. I find a whole bottle goes fast this way. Oops.
Let's be honest with each other, White Claws deserve to be on this list. While I don't think they are going to blow you away with their flavour (it's subtle) they are refreshing and do taste good. Similar to Social Lites, they are a solid choice if you're planning on drinking a lot of the same thing. Mango is my fave!
