Major Pride Events
Pride Kick Off
Sat Aug 27 is the official Pride Kick Off event (note that pride events happen earlier though). Head to Central Memorial Park at noon for music, food trucks and local vendors. A movie will be shown at 7:30pm (Kiki).
Pride Parade
This year the pride parade is Sunday Sept 4, 2022. It goes from 11am to noon. It starts at 5th St SW and ends in East Village.
Pride Festival
Following the parade head down to Fort Calgary for the Official Pride Festival. Entry is free! Expect food trucks, local vendors marketplace, a music stage, a beer gardens and a kid zone.
Shake, Stir & Strainbow
Aug 5th to Aug 26 restaurants and bars all around the city participate in Pride by making a fun pride themed cocktail. See the full list of these gorg drinks on their website. Plus a dollar from each sales is donated to the Skipping Stone Foundation. This annual event is organized by our friends at Eat North.
