Role Title: Social Content Operations Manager

Main Goal of Role:

We need someone to organize us and our content. Because Sarah is on the ground creating the content she can't also be behind the computer organizing the upcoming content schedule. To be successful in this role you'll love planning and be excited to grow the @yyc.sociables account with content created by the team.

Successful Candidate must:

• be currently living in Calgary
• be excited about going out in Calgary and monthly things to do (e.g. Halloween, concerts on for the month, food festivals on for the month)
• have social media content calendar experience
• have team management experience 
• be very organized and able to stay on top of deadlines
• genuinely care about our mission to get people out of the house and doing fun things!
• want to be in the position long term as we grow together as a team :)

Job Activities:

• ahead of the upcoming month you'll plan out (with the team) what the upcoming posts will be
• you'll keep in contact with the team regarding the post deadlines
• the team will send you the posts and you'll proofread and post them to @yyc.sociables account or ensure they are posted on other accounts (e.g. TikTok, YouTube)
• you'll engage with audience following a post
• you'll work towards a cohesive branding strategy for the @yyc.sociables account
• you'll make a plan for @yyc.sociables highlights
• you'll plan and post follower giveaways 
• you'll monitor account success metrics (@yyc.sociables follower growth, story views etc).
• as the team grows you'll coordinate content with the new members as well (i.e. website manager, podcast manager)

NOT Required for Job:

• the actual content creation itself (for the most part, will be done by other people)
• this is behind the scenes work, you don't have to show your face or be in the public eye! (unless you want to)
• budgeting or sales work

Pay:

• dependent on experience level
• starting around 10 hours per week but will likely grow as organization grows
