Have you ever been to Studio Bell? Me neither. And I live right by there, jeeze I gotta get on that. It is free for Canada so it's the perfect time to check it out. Also I really just love the look of the building. Gorgeous architecture!
East Village is really pumping up the action in recent years. A number of vendors will be present for Canada Day along with music, food trucks and the usual random entertainment stuffs.
Right downtown at City Hall will be a free family event. This will feature music and various types of Latin dancing. There are even free lessons for those who are interested. It's 3pm to 8pm so might be a good place to stop by for the afternoon and check out the scene.
Everything you can think of will be plopped down for your entertainment at Max Bell Centre all day Monday. They've got music, vendors market, beer gardens, kid's zone, Indigenous village, food trucks and fireworks! This sounds like a good time for the fam.
King Eddy has teamed up with Cold Garden to offer an awesome Rooftop Garden Party! This should be good for firework watching (I'm assuming?) although I'm not sure the direction of all the fireworks. It would be hilarious if it was facing the wrong direction.
As per usual, the City is throwing a little party of it's own. Fireworks will go off from the Centre Street Bridge at 11pm. Watch from anywhere along the Bow river. And the best part is Memorial Drive is closed to traffic so you can easily do a late night bike or walk to see the action.
